This is an asbestos case. Keene Corporation appeals from a judgment for James Gardner, Bobby Sykes, Daniel Walding, and Robert Derryberry (appellees). Appellees sued Keene for strict products liability. In eight points of error, Keene contends: there is no evidence to show Derryberry was exposed to MonoBlock; the jurys answers did not establish an essential liability element; and the trial court abused its discretion by coercing a verdict. It also contends that the trial court erred in: not granting judgment non obstante veredicto because the jurys answers did not establish an essential liability element; not allowing Keene to impeach an expert witness; awarding prejudgment interest to the plaintiffs; ordering mediation; and imposing sanctions on Keene for violating the mediation order.
