Dennis Henry was injured in the course and scope of his employment. His employers were the Keeleys. It is conceded that he is entitled to normal compensation. The commission, in addition, based on a finding that the Keeleys were guilty of "serious and wilful misconduct," awarded Henry the 50 per cent additional compensation provided for by section 4553 of the Labor Code.*fn1 By this proceeding, the Keeleys challenge that award.
